Bahrain Royal Medical Services Delegation Visits Medipol

Elite Corps Major General Dr. Sheikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Overseas Treatment, visited Medipol Group in Turkey. The visit focused on fostering international cooperation in health technologies and neuroscience.

Elite Corps Major General Dr. Sheikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Medical Services and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Overseas Treatment, visited Medipol Group in the friendly Republic of Turkey as part of his official visit.

His Excellency was warmly welcomed by Professor Özer Koca, CEO of Medipol Group. During the meeting, they explored avenues for mutual cooperation, with a particular focus on advanced neuroscience technologies and Focused Ultrasound Therapy.

Afterward, His Excellency, accompanied by the CEO, toured the hospital to review the state-of-the-art medical equipment and cutting-edge technologies on-site.

Strategies to enhance the quality of life for Parkinson's patients were thoroughly discussed.

In addition, Professor Ali Zırh, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Medipol Group - Acıbadem Branch, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the latest advancements in Parkinson's disease. The session was enriched by the participation of invited Consultant Functional Neurosurgery Specialist, Professor Andres M. Lozano.

The presentation covered modern diagnostic and treatment methods, including medications, surgical interventions, alternative and complementary therapies, as well as strategies to enhance the quality of life for Parkinson's patients.
