Medipol at the Conference in Dagestan: New Approaches in Orthopedics

On April 17, 2025, the medical holding Medipol participated in the XIII Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues in Modern Traumatology and Orthopedics”, held in Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan.

At the event, Professor of Orthopedics Adnan Kara delivered a presentation titled "Osseointegration and Bone Deformities: Modern Approaches to Treatment," becoming the only invited international speaker at the conference.

The conference focused on: Current issues in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and diseases, combat-related pathology, treatment of major joint pathologies, joint injuries and deformities.

In his presentation, Professor Adnan Kara presented: Advanced methods for correcting bone deformities, Modern surgical technologies for restoring musculoskeletal function, Osseointegration as a cutting-edge and highly relevant method of prosthetic rehabilitation, significantly improving patients’ quality of life.

Participants showed particular interest in the potential of osseointegration as a promising approach to treating patients with amputations and severe limb injuries.
