Assoc. Prof. Dr. ALKIM ÜNAL

Assoc. Prof. Alkım Ünal, MD was born in Ankara in 1983. She completed her medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and her dermatology specialization at Istanbul Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine in 2012, earning the title of Dermatology Specialist. Her specialization thesis was on ‘Demographic Characteristics and Etiological Factors of Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis’.

 Following her specialization, she completed her mandatory service as a Dermatology Specialist at Iğdır State Hospital. Subsequently, in 2014, she started working as a Specialist Doctor in the Department of Dermatology at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine, and received the title of Assistant Professor in 2016. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2025. 

 Assoc. Prof. Alkım Ünal, MD is a member of numerous national Dermatology and Venereal Diseases associations and has over 30 papers and articles published and presented in high-level scientific journals and conferences. 

 She currently continues her work in the Dermatology department at Medipol Mega Hospital. 

 Assoc. Prof. Alkım Ünal, MD aims to provide her patients with internationally recognized healthcare services by combining her academic knowledge and extensive clinical experience in the field of Dermatology with current and scientifically based treatment approaches.
