Assoc. Prof. Dr. BANU KARAALİOĞLU

Assoc. Prof. Banu Karaalioğlu, MD was born in Istanbul in 1984. She completed her medical education at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and her radiology specialization at Bezm-i Alem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine in 2016, earning the title of Radiology Specialist. Her specialization thesis was on ""CT Perfusion Techniques in Ischemic Strokeé.

 She worked as a Radiology Specialist at Edirne Keşan State Hospital. Subsequently, in 2018, she started working as a Specialist Doctor in the Department of Radiology at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine, receiving the title of Assistant Professor in 2024 and Associate Professor in 2026. She also passed the European Board of Radiology Qualification Exam and obtained the EDIR (European Diploma in Radiology) diploma.

 Assoc. Prof. Banu Karaalioğlu, MD is a member of numerous national and international Radiology societies and has over 20 papers, articles, and book chapters published and presented in high-level scientific journals and conferences. 

 She currently continues her work in the Radiology department at Medipol Mega Hospital. 

 Assoc. Prof. Banu Karaalioğlu, MD aims to provide her patients with internationally recognized healthcare services by combining her academic knowledge and extensive clinical experience in the field of Radiology.

• She is actively involved in more than 10 Phase III multicenter clinical trials using next-generation targeted therapies and immunotherapies in the treatment of lung, endometrial, ovarian, and breast cancers.
