Assoc. Prof. Cem Paketçi, MD is a pediatric neurologist specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of brain, muscle and nervous system diseases in children, distinguished by his clinical experience and academic background. After completing his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, he specialized in pediatrics and then completed his pediatric neurology subspecialty training at Dokuz Eylül University, specializing in this field. Throughout his professional life, he has focused especially on the early diagnosis and accurate treatment of neurological diseases common in childhood. He has extensive clinical experience in the evaluation and management of neurological problems seen in a wide age group ranging from infancy to adolescence.
The diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, febrile seizures, cerebral palsy, migraine and other headaches, developmental delays, attention and learning problems, muscle diseases and many other neurological diseases seen in childhood hold an important place in his clinical practice. At the core of Dr. Paketçi's approach is establishing an accurate diagnosis through a strong clinical evaluation. For this reason, he approaches his patients not only through test results, but through a detailed examination and a comprehensive clinical evaluation. He believes that every child has a unique developmental story and evaluates each patient individually. His aim is not only to solve the current problem, but to best support the child's long-term neurological development. He continues his work as a physician who closely follows scientific developments, contributes to academic studies and reflects current treatment approaches in his clinical practice. This understanding, in which scientific knowledge, experience and a patient-centered approach come together, forms the basis of his approach to medicine in the field of pediatric neurology.
Assoc. Prof. Cem Paketçi has played a role in the training of many colleagues at the academic institutions where he has worked. He has numerous scientific studies published in many different national and international journals. His work is also featured on international academic platforms and is cited in various scientific publications. His research focuses particularly on epilepsy and other seizure disorders, neurodevelopmental diseases, and neuromuscular diseases of childhood.
