Assoc. Prof. Dr. ERSAN OFLAR

Assoc. Prof. Ersan Oflar, MD was born in Aybastı, Ordu, in 1985. He successfully completed his medical education at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and received the title of medical doctor. After graduation, he started his professional career as a general practitioner at Aybastı State Hospital between 2010 and 2011.

He completed his specialty training at the Cardiology Clinic of Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital between 2011 and 2015 and became a Cardiology Specialist; between 2015 and 2021, he continued to work as a cardiology specialist at the same institution.

In 2021, he passed the oral and written chief resident examination and started working as Chief Resident at the Cardiology Clinic of Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital. During this period, he contributed to the training of many resident physicians and to the development of many interventional cardiac procedures at his institution, such as structural heart disease, peripheral artery disease and coronary procedures. He attended many national and international meetings and courses on valve diseases and coronary artery disease and obtained numerous certificates in these fields. During his time as specialist and chief resident, he served as principal investigator and researcher in many international clinical studies on lipid disorders and pulmonary vascular diseases.

Dr. Ersan, who joined Medipol Bahçelievler University Hospital in 2025, received the title of Associate Professor in the same year. In his clinical work, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersan Oflar has specialized particularly in interventional cardiology. He focuses on advanced percutaneous procedures such as TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), MitraClip, coronary angiography and stenting, carotid artery stenting, and ASD and PFO closure. He also has extensive experience in the current treatment methods of hypertension, heart failure and valve diseases.

Reflecting his academic knowledge and years of clinical experience in his patients' treatment processes, Assoc. Prof. Ersan Oflar, MD aims to provide high-quality healthcare services at international standards with a science-based approach.
