Assoc. Prof. Dr. ÖZGÜR AÇIKGÖZ

Assoc. Prof. ÖZGÜR AÇIKGÖZ, MD was born in Niğde in 1973. He completed his medical education with a degree of distinction at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1996. He completed his Internal Medicine specialty training at Taksim First Aid Training and Research Hospital in 2002. He completed his Medical Oncology subspecialty training at Kocaeli University in 2014.

 Throughout his career, he completed his compulsory service in various provinces of Türkiye, both as a general practitioner and as a specialist. In 2018, he began working as a specialist at the Medical Oncology Clinic of Medipol University. He became an associate professor of oncology in 2024 and currently works at Medipol Mega University Hospital.

 He has served as a Sub-Investigator in numerous international Phase 3 studies, particularly on breast and lung cancer. He continues his academic and clinical work, with his academic knowledge reflected in more than 30 articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
