Highlights

Assoc. Prof. Serdar Al MD specializes in pediatric allergy and clinical immunology and focuses particularly on food allergies, atopic dermatitis, primary immunodeficiencies and childhood respiratory tract diseases. After graduating from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, he completed his pediatrics specialty training at the same institution, and then received his pediatric allergy subspecialty training at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. Throughout his academic career, he has conducted clinical and scientific studies on the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of allergic and immunological diseases of childhood, and has contributed to the field with articles, book chapters, papers and case reports published in national and international journals. In his approach to his patients, he adheres to the principles of evidence-based medicine and adopts an individualized and holistic assessment.
