Assoc. Prof. Dr. SEVİL BİLİR

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevil Bilir completed her medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2000. She completed her residency training in Child Health and Diseases at Istanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, qualifying as a specialist in the field in 2006.

Following her specialization, she worked as a specialist physician at Bolu İzzet Baysal Maternity and Children's Hospital from 2006 to 2010. She began her academic career at Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Medicine in 2010, where she served as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2016 and attained the title of Associate Professor in 2016.

She worked as an Associate Professor at Istanbul Private Ersoy Hospital (2018–2019) and Istanbul Hisar Intercontinental Hospital (2019–2024). She currently practices in the field of Child Health and Diseases at Medipol Acıbadem District Hospital.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevil Bilir conducts clinical work in areas including newborn follow-up and postnatal newborn care, assessment of growth and development, pediatric nutrition, immunization and preventive pediatrics, childhood infections, and respiratory system diseases. She aims to combine her academic and clinical experience with up-to-date, science-based pediatric approaches that prioritize the needs of children and their families.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilir has numerous publications and presentations in international and national scientific literature, comprising 36 international and 27 national publications, as well as 20 international and 37 national presentations.
