Assoc. Prof. Dr. SULTAN BİŞKİN ZEYBEK

Assoc. Prof. Sultan Bişkin Zeybek, MD was born in Kırıkkale in 1980. She successfully completed her medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa), one of Turkey’s long-established medical institutions. She completed her residency training at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, earning the title of Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.

Following her residency, she fulfilled her mandatory state service at the Malatya State Hospital ENT and Head and Neck Surgery Clinic. Bringing an academic dimension to her professional career, Dr. Zeybek served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine. During this period, she not only contributed to the training of future physicians but also further developed her clinical expertise.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sultan Bişkin Zeybek’s medical interests span a wide range of areas. She has focused particularly on the surgical treatment of head and neck cancers, including cancers of the larynx, vocal cords, tongue, lips, cheeks, salivary glands, and sinuses, as well as goiter and thyroid diseases. She also has extensive experience in advanced technological solutions for hearing loss, including cochlear implant (bionic ear) and BAHA surgeries, as well as in the treatment of middle ear conditions such as cholesteatoma and otosclerosis, endoscopic sinus surgery, skull base repair, and maxillofacial (facial and jaw) surgery.

Distinguished by her academic productivity, Dr. Zeybek has authored more than 30 scientific publications indexed in international literature, including PubMed, and has contributed to numerous articles and scientific presentations. Fluent in English, Dr. Zeybek closely follows current international developments and incorporates the latest advances into her surgical practice.
