Assistant Professor Elvan Dolanmaz, MD, was born in Ankara in 1968. After completing her secondary and high school education at
TED Ankara College, she graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry.
She completed her orthodontics education at Selçuk University in 2004 and became an Orthodontist Specialist.
Between 2000 and 2004, she worked as a research assistant in the Department of Orthodontics at Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry.
She prepared her specialization (doctoral) thesis entitled "Evaluation of Young Adults', Children's and Their Families' Perspectives on Malocclusions" under the supervision of Prof. Haluk İşeri, MD and Assoc. Prof. Tamer Büyükyılmaz, MD..
Following her specialization, she worked at the Konya Oral and Dental Health Center between 2005 and 2009.
She worked at Konya Private Farabi Hospital between 2009 and 2015.
She has been working at Istanbul Medipol Mega University Hospital since 2017, and is part of the academic staff, providing undergraduate and postgraduate education.
She is currently a member of the Turkish Dental Association, the Turkish Orthodontic Society, and the European Orthodontic Society.
She has a good command of English and an intermediate level of German.
