Asst. Prof. Dr. ELVAN DOLANMAZ

Asst. Prof. Elvan was born in Ankara in 1968. After completing her secondary and high school education at TED Ankara College, she graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry. She completed her orthodontic training at Selçuk University in 2004 and became an Orthodontics Specialist. Between 2000 and 2004, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Orthodontics of Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry. She prepared her specialty (PhD) thesis titled ‘’Evaluation of the Perspectives of Young Adults, Children and Their Families on Malocclusions’’ under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Haluk İşeri and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tamer Büyükyılmaz. After her specialization, she worked at Konya Oral and Dental Health Center between 2005 and 2009. She worked at Konya Private Farabi Hospital between 2009 and 2015. Since 2017, she has been working at Istanbul Medipol Mega University Hospital, where she is a member of the academic staff and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is a member of the Turkish Dental Association, the Turkish Orthodontic Society and the European Orthodontic Society. She has a good command of English and an intermediate level of German.
