Asst. Prof. Dr. GAYE TÜRKMEN NOYAN

She was born in Adana in 1994. She graduated from Gündoğdu College High School as the top student of school in 2012 and completed her medical education in Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 2018. During her medical education, she interned in Università degli Studi di Pavia in Italy for 6 months with Erasmus + program. After her medical education, she completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry specialist training between 2019-2023 in Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. She completed her specialization thesis entitled "Investigating the Effects of a Structured Sleep Hygiene Education and Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercise Program on Sleep, Executive Functions, and ADHD Symptoms in Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Sleep Problems." After her specialist training, she did her compulsory service in Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital. In her academical studies, she primarily focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and problems accompanying these disorders and sleep. She has national and international articles, presentation and book chapters on these areas. She is a member of national and international associations in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; she participated in many congress and scientific meetings, also she serves as a reviewer for international academical journals. Aside from her clinical studies on neurodevelopmental disorders she received education on the field of cognitive behavioral therapy.
