Asst. Prof. Dr. GÖKHAN ÖZKOÇAK

Asst. Prof. Gökhan Özkoçak, MD graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2014. He began his residency in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Uludağ University and completed his specialty training in 2019 at the Health Sciences University Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital.

In 2019, he was assigned to Gümüşhane State Hospital to fulfill his compulsory government service. After completing his service, Dr. Özkoçak began his academic career at Istanbul Aydın University in 2021. Between 2021 and 2022, he worked at Medicana Bahçelievler Hospital, and from 2022 to 2024, he continued his clinical work at Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital.

His areas of expertise include stroke, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), cerebral palsy, fibromyalgia, postural disorders, cervical and lumbar disc herniation, joint osteoarthritis, rheumatic diseases, and musculoskeletal pain.

Dr. Özkoçak has participated in numerous national and international congresses on ultrasound-guided stem cell, exosome, PRP, and Botox injections, neural therapy, mesotherapy, ozone therapy, and rehabilitation applications.

In 2024, he established the Physical Therapy and Robotic Rehabilitation Center at Medipol Acıbadem District Hospital and continues his work in collaboration with the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center.
