Asst. Prof. Dr. GÖKHAN ÖZKOÇAK

Asst. Prof. Üyesi Gökhan Özkoçak graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2014. He completed his residency training—which he began in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Uludağ University—at the University of Health Sciences Istanbul Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital in 2019.

 In 2019, he was appointed to Gümüşhane State Hospital to fulfill his mandatory state service obligation. After completing this service, Doctor Özkoçak began his academic career at Istanbul Aydın University in 2021. He subsequently practiced at Medicana Bahçelievler Hospital between 2021 and 2022, and at Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital between 2022 and 2024.

 Conditions treated by Doctor Özkoçak include stroke/paralysis, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), cerebral palsy, fibromyalgia, postural disorders, cervical and lumbar disc herniations, joint degeneration (osteoarthritis), rheumatic diseases, and musculoskeletal pain.

 He has participated in numerous national and international congresses regarding ultrasound-guided stem cell, exosome, PRP, and Botox injections, as well as neural therapy, mesotherapy, ozone therapy, and rehabilitation practices.

 Having established the Physical Therapy and Robotic Rehabilitation Center at Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital in 2024, it continues its operations in conjunction with the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center.
