Highlights
Gülseren Polat, who has been providing services for over 30 years addressing all manner of health issues faced by women during their youth, reproductive years, and menopause, graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1989. She served for four years in the emergency department of Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital in Istanbul as part of his mandatory service. Between 1993 and 1997, she completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Süleymaniye Maternity and Women's Health Hospital. After 22 years of dedicated and intensive work at Private Bağcılar Safa Hospital, she has been practicing at Medipol Mega University Hospital since 2019.
She conducted her academic work as an Assistant Professor at the Istanbul Gelisim University Vocational School of Health Services between 2015 and 2025. Since 2025, she has continued her work as a faculty member at the Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine. She provides training, seminars, and clinical practice sessions for resident physicians and medical students. She aims to contribute to the education of new generations by blending years of knowledge and experience with up-to-date information.
Assistant Professor Gülseren Polat has touched the lives of tens of thousands of women during the most special and exciting periods of pregnancy and childbirth. Drawing on her extensive clinical experience and academic expertise, she provides each patient with up-to-date, evidence-based, personalized, and high-quality healthcare services. In this journey, she provides—with empathy—healthcare support that makes every woman feel she is in safe hands, special, and understood. Her primary goal is to contribute to every woman leading a healthier, more productive, and happier life."
