Highlights
Asst. Prof. Hatice Betigül Meral, MD was born in Malatya in 1995. She completed her medical education at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2018. She completed her specialization training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2023.
Following her specialist training, she fulfilled her mandatory service as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist at Osmaniye Bahçe State Hospital between 2023 and 2024. She has been working at Medipol Mega University Hospital since 2024 and will continue her academic work as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine from March 2025 onwards.
She carries out clinical and scholarly research in the areas of musculoskeletal disorders, fibromyalgia, central sensitization, muscle ultrasonography, and rehabilitation. International peer-reviewed journals have published her scientific research.
