Highlights
Dr. İbrahim Demir was born in Yozgat in 1992. He completed his medical education at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2016 and his residency training in Cardiovascular Surgery at the same institution in 2022, earning the title of Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist. His specialization thesis focused on “Blood Management in Adult Open-Heart Surgery Patients.
Following his specialization, he served as a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist at Kırşehir Training and Research Hospital. In 2025, he joined the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine as an Assistant Professor.
He is also currently pursuing a PhD in the Translational Oncology Program at the Department of Oncology, Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Health Sciences. Having successfully passed the qualifying examination, he is currently at the thesis stage of his doctoral studies.
