Highlights
Assistant Professor Mehmet Beşiroğlu is originally from Trabzon and was born in the Ceyhan district of Adana in 1988. He completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2012. He began his residency training in Cardiology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2013 and completed it in 2018. He subsequently fulfilled his mandatory state service obligation at Hatay Samandağ State Hospital from 2018 to 2020.
Following his mandatory service, he worked as a cardiologist at various public and private healthcare institutions. He has been working in the Department of Cardiology at Istanbul Medipol University since 2024 and has continued his academic career as an Assistant Professor since 2025.
Assistant Professor Mehmet Beşiroğlu is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology (TKD) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). He closely follows current developments in the field of cardiology and has actively participated—and continues to participate—in numerous national and international scientific congresses and meetings.
By integrating his academic knowledge and clinical experience into patient care, Assistant Professor Mehmet Beşiroğlu aims to provide high-quality healthcare services in line with current, evidence-based medical practices. He pursues his work with a patient-centered approach and a scientifically grounded treatment philosophy while keeping abreast of advances in cardiology.
