Asst. Prof. Mürvet Hakyemez, MD was born in Çaykara, Trabzon, in 1967.
After completing her primary and secondary education in Çaykara, she began her medical education at Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1984.
She completed her medical education at the same faculty in 1990. In the same year, she passed the TUS (Medical Specialty Examination) and began her residency at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.
She completed her residency in 1995 and qualified as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist. After completing her residency, she worked as Chief Resident for 2 years at the 3rd Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Şişli Etfal Hospital.
After her post-specialty Chief Resident position, which covered clinical practice and resident training, she continued her work mainly in the field and in surgery. She began this work at Private Nisa Hospital, and since 2022 she has been continuing her clinical and academic work as an Assistant Professor at Private Medipol Bahçelievler Hospital.
Serving in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 30 years of professional experience, Asst. Prof. Mürvet Hakyemez, MD has performed thousands of successful deliveries and gynecological surgical operations. She has extensive case experience in high-risk pregnancy follow-up, delivery management (vaginal delivery and cesarean section) and major gynecological surgical operations.
Attending national and international congresses and advanced specialty courses regularly every year in order to closely follow medical developments and innovative surgical approaches, Dr. Mürvet Hakyemez continues to serve her patients in line with the most current, evidence-based medical principles and to pursue her scientific work.
