". Asst. Prof. Mustafa Çakır MD was born in Konya in 1988. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2012. He completed his residency training in Ear, Nose and Throat and Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Health Sciences Istanbul Training and Research Hospital between 2015 and 2020.
Following his residency training, Dr. Çakır worked as an ENT specialist at Midyat State Hospital between 2020 and 2022, Since 2022, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in the ENT and Head and Neck Surgery Clinic at Medipol Mega University Hospital. . His clinical practice primarily focuses on nasal and facial aesthetic surgery, including rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, septoplasty, turbinate surgery and otoplasty. He has participated in various courses and training programs on rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic procedures and served as a speaker at the NoseCraft Congresses in 2024, 2025 and 2026. In addition to rhinoplasty and facial aesthetic surgery, he continues to provide patient care in the fields of pediatric ear nose throat diseases, sleep apnea and snoring surgeries and ear and balance disorders.
Dr. Çakır has scientific articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. These publications have been cited by other researchers in the field, contributing to the literature on ENT and head and neck surgery. He has delivered oral and poster presentations at various scientific meetings, including the National ENT and Head and Neck Surgery Congresses, the Turkish Rhinology Congress, the National Otology and Neurotology Congress, and the Head and Neck Surgery Congress. He prepared his residency thesis titled “Effect of Alpha-Lipoic Acid and Coenzyme Q10 on the Recovery of Olfactory Functions in an Anosmic Mouse Model” as an experimental study in the field of olfactory disorders and presented the findings as an oral presentation at the 42nd Turkish National ENT and Head and Neck Surgery Congress.
He currently continues to work in the Department of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery at Medipol Mega University Hospital.
