Highlights
Asst. Prof. Erkin Çınar, MD was born in Tokat in 1990. He completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2013.
He completed his Internal Medicine specialization training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 2014 and 2018, earning the title of Internal Medicine Specialist. His specialization thesis was titled ""The Effect of Induction Chemotherapy on Leukemia-Related Anemia in Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.”
Following his specialization training, he completed his mandatory public service at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital between 2018 and 2019.
He completed his subspecialty training in Hematology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 2019 and 2023, and received the title of Hematology Specialist. In 2023, he achieved first place in Turkey in the HEM-TUYEK National Hematology Board Exam and, in the same year, successfully passed the exam organized by the European Hematology Association (EHA), earning the European Hematology Exam Certificate.
He completed his mandatory public service in the field of hematology at Kayseri City Hospital between 2023 and 2025. Since 2025, he has been working as a faculty member at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine and continues to see patients at Medipol Mega University Hospital.
In 2025, he won first place in the Turkish Society of Hematology Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies Masterclass. In 2026, he was elected to the European Hematology Association Specialized Working Group on Immune Therapies for Hematologic Disorders; in the same year, he served as the founding secretary of the Turkish Society of Hematology Artificial Intelligence Scientific Subcommittee.
He has participated as a speaker or attendee in numerous national and international congresses, courses, and scientific meetings. He has published more than 30 scientific articles, and his work has been cited in national and international literature.
Combining his scientific expertise with current diagnostic and treatment methods, Asst. Prof . Olgu Erkin Çınar, MD aims to create personalized diagnostic and treatment plans for each patient by evaluating them individually.
