Highlights
Dr. Safiye Selin Köymen was born in Ankara in 1992. She completed her dental education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry and graduated in 2015. Following her graduation, she successfully passed the Dental Specialty Examination and began her specialization training in Restorative Dentistry.
She completed her residency at the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Dentistry and earned the title of Specialist in Restorative Dentistry in 2020. Between 2020 and 2024, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Istanbul Medipol University Esenler Hospital.
Since 2024, she has been continuing her academic and clinical practice as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at Istanbul Medipol Mega University Hospital.
Dr. Köymen focuses on the early diagnosis and treatment of dental caries, as well as minimally invasive approaches aimed at preserving healthy tooth structure while providing aesthetic and functional solutions. Her main areas of practice include natural-looking composite fillings, aesthetic restorations, closure of interdental gaps (diastema), and teeth whitening treatments.By combining her academic expertise in restorative dentistry with extensive clinical experience, she aims to provide her patients with aesthetic, durable, and long-lasting treatment solutions.
