Highlights
She completed her dental education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry and graduated in 2015. After graduation, she began her specialty training in Restorative Dentistry through the Dental Specialty Examination. She completed her specialty training at the Department of Restorative Dentistry of Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Dentistry and received the title of restorative dentistry specialist in 2020. Between 2020 and 2024, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry of Istanbul Medipol University Esenler Hospital.
Since 2024, she has continued her academic and clinical work as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry of Istanbul Medipol Mega University Hospital.
In addition to the early diagnosis and treatment of dental caries, Asst. Prof. Safiye Selin Köymen offers aesthetic and functional solutions with minimal interventions aimed at preserving sound tooth structure. Natural-looking composite fillings, aesthetic restorations, closure of gaps between teeth (diastema) and tooth whitening treatments are among her main areas of practice. By combining her academic knowledge and clinical experience in restorative dentistry, she aims to offer her patients aesthetic and long-lasting treatment solutions.
