Asst. Prof. Dr. TUBA LİNA GÜLAKAR

Assistant Professor Lina Tuba Gülakar is a dentist with academic and clinical experience who specializes in prosthetic dental treatment. Following her medical/dentistry education, she completed her Prosthetic Dentistry specialization at Istanbul Medipol University in 2023 and received the title of Specialist Dentist. During her residency and research period, she conducted extensive laboratory studies on microhardness and bending strength analyzes of dental materials and the long-term effects of environmental factors such as gastric acid on restorative CAD / CAM materials.

  After her specialization, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Medipol University Hospital Prosthodontics Department in 2023. She started her career as a faculty member and became a member of the academic staff. In this process, she has integrated current approaches in digital dentistry, smile design and CAD/CAM technologies into her daily practice. She has high level of competence in clinical dental photography, 3D smile design and digital workflows and adopts a multidisciplinary working model. 

 Thanks to her strong ties with international prosthesis academies and prestigious study clubs (ITI - International Team for Implantology), she offers treatment approaches at global standards. She is one of the few specialist physicians in our country who knows all three of the 3Shape In-House preparation scanning, digital design and Imes-Icore Coritec One production management processes at an advanced level, actively applies them in the clinic and personally manages the production processes. She has extensive clinical experience in the fields of advanced implant prosthesis planning, TiBase use, adhesive dentistry applications and Full-Mouth Rehabilitation management.

  Assistant Professor Lina Tuba Gülakar is a member of many national and international dental associations and has articles, papers and case presentations published in prestigious SCI / SCIE indexed journals and international meetings. She has actively participated in the organizations of global companies such as VITA Academy, TDA, Nobel Biocare, Megagen, Osstem and Nucleoss, especially to follow innovative trends in the field of adhesive cementation protocols and digital implantology. 

 She currently continues her academic and clinical duties at Medipol University Hospital and provides international healthcare services to her patients by combining her deep-rooted knowledge in the field of prosthetic dental treatment with up-to-date, technological and scientific-based approaches.
