Clinical Psychologist SÜMEYRA AKÇİÇEK

Specialist Clinical Psychologist Sümeyra Savaş Akçiçek graduated from the Department of Psychology of Üsküdar University in 2018. In 2021, she completed the Department of Clinical Psychology at Istanbul Kent University. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked as a Psychologist at Bahçelievler Special Education and Rehabilitation Center. Having started working as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist at Koşuyolu Medipol Hospital in November 2021, Sümeyra Savaş Akçiçek has continued her work at Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital since October 2024.

 In her clinical work, she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She has also received training in Trauma and Grief Counseling, Child Assessment Tests, Children's Drawings Analysis, Interview Techniques with Children and Adjustment-Behavior Problems, the MMPI Personality Test, the MOXO Attention Test, and Neuropsychological Test Assessment.

 Her areas of interest are depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, illness anxiety disorder, conversion disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, anger problems, stress and motivation.

 Since October 2024, she has been working as a Neuropsychometric Test Administrator at the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER) of Istanbul Medipol University and provides the most appropriate personalized psychotherapy support for psychiatric problems accompanying Parkinson's disease.
