Dentist ELİFNUR AYDEMİR AYDIN

"Dentist Elifnur Aydemir Aydın was born in Bandırma in 1994. After completing her dental education at Istanbul Medipol University, she began her professional career in the private sector, working at Ametist Oral and Dental Health Clinic between 2019 and 2020. She then pursued an academic career, beginning her doctorate in Restorative Dentistry in 2021. 

 Between 2023 and 2025, she worked as a lecturer at Istanbul Health and Social Sciences Vocational School, and is currently continuing her doctorate in Restorative Dentistry at Istanbul Medipol University and working at Medipol University Esenler Hospital. In her clinical practice, she focuses on the treatment of tooth hard tissue loss due to caries, trauma, wear, and other causes, aesthetic and functional restorations, adhesive dentistry applications, and direct and indirect restorative treatments. She particularly adopts current and preventive treatment approaches in the rehabilitation of teeth with advanced substance loss; She applies minimally invasive methods such as onlay, overlay, and endocrown restorations.

 Her academic work focuses on restorative dental materials, resin composites, adhesive systems, and the biological properties of restorative materials. In her ongoing doctoral thesis, she evaluates Streptococcus mutans adhesion, biofilm formation, and biofilm viability on different restorative materials using a confocal laser scanning microscope. Aydemir Aydın, who has presented oral and poster presentations at national and international scientific congresses, has had her study on the optical properties of resin composites published in the SCI-indexed journal Odontology.

 Adopting current, evidence-based, and multidisciplinary approaches in her scientific and clinical work, Elifnur Aydemir Aydın continues her academic and clinical work in the field of Restorative Dentistry."
