Highlights
He was born in Diyarbakır on 10.04.1983. He completed his medical education at Istanbul (Çapa) Faculty of Medicine in 2008 and his General Surgery residency at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2014, receiving the title of General Surgery Specialist. His specialty thesis was on 'The Use of Mesh Covered with Autogenous Tissue in Incisional Hernias'.
Between 2014 and 2017, he worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Bayrampaşa State Hospital. During this period, he carried out studies on breast cancer surgery and breast oncoplasty at Istanbul University Oncology Institute. In 2017, he started working as a Lecturer at Istanbul Esenyurt University. He also practiced General Surgery at his private clinic. Since 2024, he has been working as a General Surgery Specialist at Private Medipol Bahçelievler University Hospital. He is particularly interested in obesity and metabolic surgery. Since 2017, he has performed more than 5,000 obesity and metabolic surgery operations.
