Highlights
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Karadeniz Technical University, where he began his medical education in 1984 and completed it in 1990, earning the title of Medical Doctor. In the same year, he was assigned to the Yeşilova Village Health Center in Trabzon, where he worked as a general practitioner for four years.
Between 1994 and 1999, he completed his specialization training in General Surgery at Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. Following his military service, he worked as a General Surgery specialist at SSK Karamürsel Hospital, SSK Kartal Hospital, and Göztepe Training and Research Hospital.
In 2010, he served as Deputy Chief Physician at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. Since 2011, he has been working at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery.
He became an Associate Professor in 2017 and a Professor in 2023. He has 23 scientific articles published in national and international journals.
He is married and has three children, and he speaks English.
