Highlights
Prof. Ali Balevi, MD, was born in Çanakkale in 1982. He completed his medical education at Erciyes University Gevher Nesibe Faculty of Medicine in 2006 and his residency training in Dermatology at Selçuk University Meram Medical Faculty in 2011, becoming a Specialist in Dermatology.
Following completion of his residency, he worked as a Dermatology Specialist at Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital. In 2013, he joined the Department of Dermatology at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine as a Specialist. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2018 and Professor in 2024.
Prof. Ali Balevi is a member of numerous national dermatology associations and has authored and presented more than 100 papers, articles, and book chapters in high-level scientific journals and at national and international scientific conferences. His research on the efficacy of the Nd (neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet; Nd₃Al₅O₁₂) laser in the treatment of treatment-resistant palmoplantar warts was recognized with an award.
Prof. Balevi currently continues his clinical and academic activities in the Department of Dermatology at Medipol Mega University Hospital. Combining his academic expertise and extensive clinical experience in dermatology with current, evidence-based treatment approaches, he aims to provide his patients with internationally recognized standards of healthcare and individualized treatment.
