Prof. Dr. HACI MUSTAFA ÖZDEMİR

Prof. H. Mustafa Özdemir MD, is a distinguished physician who stands out for his clinical achievements and academic productivity, with over 30 years of experience in the field of orthopedics and traumatology. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1993, completed his specialization training in Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in the same university in 1998 and began his professional career with a strong academic foundation.

After his specialization training, he worked in public hospitals and training-research institutions for a long time. Prof. H. Mustafa Özdemir MD gained significant experience particularly through his clinical and academic work at Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital. During this period, he took on an active role in advanced surgical practices and in training of physicians.

Prof. H. Mustafa Özdemir MD has also continued his professional development internationally, completing a master’s degree and advanced clinical training in spinal surgery at Johns Hopkins University and Heidelberg University. He served as clinic chief and education supervisor in various training and research hospitals and served as founding chief physician of Seyrantepe Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital. During this period, he gained extensive surgical experience in the field of pediatric and adult spinal surgery.

Prof. H. Mustafa Özdemir MD has steadily progressed in his academic career, earning the titles of Associate Professor and Professor in the field of orthopedics and traumatology, thereby advancing his scientific work further. He currently serves as an assistant professor in Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine; and contributes to the training of young physicians during their licence, specialisation and subspeciality trainings.

To date, Prof. H. Mustafa Özdemir MD has performed thousands of successful surgical operations and effectively applies contemporary treatment methods in modern orthopedics with an approach that prioritizes patient safety and comfort.
