Highlights
Prof. Ayşe Parlakgümüş, MD was born in Ankara in 1976. She completed her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2000.
She completed her specialization training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, earning the title of Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist. She completed her specialization thesis with a study titled ""The relationship between cardiac adaptation to uteroplacental Doppler flow and perinatal outcomes in diabetic pregnant women.""
She earned the title of Associate Professor in 2014 and Professor in 2019.
Throughout her professional career, she has worked at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Uniklinikum Bonn Geburtshilfe und Frauenheilkunde, Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Private Medline Adana Hospital, and Medipol Mega University, continuing her academic and clinical work.
She has enhanced her knowledge and experience in her field by participating in Uniklinikum Bonn Geburtshilfe und Frauenheilkunde Pränatalmedizin, Kings College, Perinatology, and the University of Barcelona International Maternal Fetal Medicine Master Program, both domestically and/or internationally.
She has participated as a speaker or attendee in numerous national and international congresses, courses, and scientific meetings. She has forty-six scientific articles, and her work has received numerous citations in national and international literature.
Combining the scientific expertise with current diagnostic and treatment methods, Prof. Parlakgümüş, MD aims to create personalized diagnostic and treatment plans for each patient by evaluating them individually.
