Prof. Dr. MUSTAFA CELALETTİN HAKSAL

Prof. Mustafa Haksal MD was born in France in 1979. He completed his medical education at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and his residency training in General Surgery at Istanbul Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 2012, earning the title of General Surgery Specialist. He completed his residency thesis on ‘The effectiveness of the transabdominal preperitoneal (tapp) repair technique in bilateral inguinal hernia repair.’

 Following his specialization, he worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Derince Training and Research Hospital. Subsequently, he started working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery at İstanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine in 2014 and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2019. 

 Prof.  Mustafa Haksal MD is a member of various general surgery associations and has authored more than 100 scientific works, including presentations, articles and book chapters published and presented in high-level scientific journals and meetings. 

 He currently continues to work in General Surgery Clinic at Medipol Mega Hospital. 

By combining his academic knowledge and extensive clinical experience in the field of General Surgery (especially in the field of proctology with colon, rectum and stomach cancer) with up-to-date, evidence-based treatment approaches, Prof. Mustafa Haksal MD aims to provide his patients with healthcare services of international standards.
