Mustafa Gündoğar, after graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry i 2005, he completed his doctorate in Dental Diseases and Treatment in Marmara University Health Sciences Institution. He then moved to the Faculty of Dentistry at Medipol University in 2012 and began working in the Department of Endodontics. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2020 and Professor in 2025 and he currently continues his work at the same faculty as a faculty member in the Department of Endodontics. He also conducts research in the field of dentistry at REMER which is one of the most important research centers in Europe.
His fields of interests are operation principles of nickel titanium rotary instruments, root canal irrigation, regeneration and artificial intelligence in dentistry. He was involved in the development of Turkey’s first patented endodontic file with reciprocating motion. He has many publications in national and international indexes; and serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed national and international journals. He is an active member of Turkish Dental Association (TDA), Turkish Endodontic Society (TES), American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and European Society of Endodontology (ESE).
He has participated in numerous national and international congresses and actively provides endodontic training in Turkey. Born in 1981 in the Akşehir district of Konya, Mustafa Gündoğar is married and has a daughter.
