Highlights

Prof. Dr. Sena Tolu was born in Konya in 1980. She completed her medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. She completed her specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2010, after which she fulfilled her compulsory service at Erzurum Oltu State Hospital.

She worked at Istanbul Medipol University, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation between 2012–2016 and has continued her work there since 2018. She served as an Associate Professor between 2020 and 2025 and has been working as a Professor since December 2025.

Her studies presented at national and international scientific congresses have received various awards. At the Turkish Rheumatology Congress with international participation, she was awarded first and second prizes for oral presentations, as well as a second prize for best research. She also received the second prize for best poster at the National Osteoporosis Congress.

Prof. Dr. Sena Tolu aims to provide evidence-based, modern, and personalized treatment approaches by combining her scientific expertise with extensive clinical experience. Her goal is to reduce patients’ pain, improve their functional capacity, and maximize their quality of life.
