Prof. Dr. TOLGA KANDOĞAN

Prof. Dr. Tolga Kandoğan was born in İzmir in 1967. After graduating from İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School (German Department) and Ege University Faculty of Medicine, he completed the specialization training at the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, the same faculty from which he graduated.

He worked at the Health Sciences University Tepecik Training and Research Hospital and İzmir Training and Research Hospital Health Application and Research Centers between 2000 and 2018.

For various periods, he studied at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), the University of Greifswald (Germany), the University of Bern (Switzerland), the University of Groningen (Netherlands), the University of Heidelberg (Germany), and Dryburn Hospital (England).

According to United States law number 94-484, he has gained the right to receive medical education, work as a doctor, and obtain a visa in this country. ECFMG(Examination Certifying Foreign Medical Graduates)

In the inter-high school mathematics and physics competitions organized by TÜBİTAK, the Aegean Region received the second place award.

He is a member of the Medipol University Faculty of Medicine Head and Neck Oncology Council, Medipol University Faculty of Medicine Pediatric Aerodigistic Council, Medipol University Faculty of Medicine Adult Aerodigistic Council, and Medipol University Faculty of Medicine Respiratory Disorders and OSAS Council.

He has served on the Organizing Committees of numerous Congresses and Symposiums, and has also organized and chaired five International Symposiums on Difficult Airway and Laryngotracheal Stenosis Surgery.

He is a member of numerous national and international scientific organizations, serves as a consultant and editor for national and international journals, and participates in panels, conferences, and congresses both domestically and internationally. They have authored chapters in 2 international and numerous domestic books. They have numerous articles published both domestically and internationally.

He has an excellent command of German and English.
