Highlights

Prof. Yaşar ÖZDENKAYA, MD was born in Bolu in 1974. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1997.

He completed his general surgery specialization training at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital of Health Sciences University, earning the title of General Surgery Specialist. He completed his specialization thesis with a study titled ""INVESTIGATION OF ADHESIVE SMALL BOWEL OBSTRUCTIONS WITH UROVIST-ANGIOGRAPHY"".

Following his specialist training, he fulfilled his mandatory public service obligation at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital of Health Sciences University between 1998 and 2012.

He earned the title of Associate Professor in 2020 and Professor in 2026.

Throughout his professional career, he has worked and continued his academic and clinical studies at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Bezmialem Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital, and Medipol Mega University Hospital.

He has enhanced his knowledge and experience in his field by participating in numerous training programs both domestically and/or internationally.

He has participated as a speaker or attendee in numerous national and international congresses, courses, and scientific meetings. He has more than 50 scientific articles, and his work has received numerous citations in national and international literature.

Combining the scientific expertise with current diagnostic and treatment methods, Prof. ÖZDENKAYA, MD aims to create personalized diagnostic and treatment plans for each patient by evaluating them individually.
