Highlights
Specialist Arzu Shahveranova, MD was born in 1991. She completed her medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University in 2014. She completed her radiology specialization training at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 2022 and received the title of Radiology Specialist.
Following her specialization training, she worked at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital between 2022–2023, at Koç University Hospital between 2023–2024, and at Liv Hospital İstinye University Hospital in 2024. Since May 2025, she has been working as a Radiology Specialist at Medipol Mega Complex of Hospitals.
Arzu Shahveranova, whose professional work is primarily in the field of breast radiology, has experience in the diagnosis and evaluation of breast diseases using digital mammography and tomosynthesis, breast ultrasonography, and contrast-enhanced breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In addition, she performs breast biopsies under ultrasonography and stereotactic guidance, as well as other interventional breast radiology procedures.
Adopting a multidisciplinary approach to evaluating diagnostic imaging findings in accordance with current international guidelines, Arzu Shahveranova continues her work, particularly in the early diagnosis of breast cancer, imaging follow-up of high-risk patient groups, and advanced radiological evaluation of benign and malignant breast lesions.
She currently continues to provide her patients with up-to-date, scientific, and internationally standardized diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services in the field of breast radiology at Medipol Mega Complex of Hospitals.
