Spec. Dr. (Specialist Dr.) BURAK BERBER

Dr. Burak Berber is an experienced psychiatrist serving in the field of psychiatry with many years of clinical experience and academic background. In his clinical practice, he addresses diagnostic and treatment processes with a holistic approach, evaluating biological, psychological and social dimensions together.

 Born in İzmir, Dr. Burak Berber graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He completed his specialty training at Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital and received the title of Psychiatry Specialist in 1998.

 Throughout his professional career, he has been actively working in private outpatient clinics and inpatient units for approximately 25 years. During this time, he has carried out the evaluation, treatment and long-term follow-up of more than 100,000 psychiatric diagnoses. His clinical experience covers a broad spectrum including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders and mental health problems in old age.

 Having also played an active role in academia for many years, Dr. Burak Berber taught Psychopathology and Symbolism courses at Istanbul Kültür University. In his teaching activities, he aimed to pass on his clinical experience to his students by combining it with a theoretical framework.

 He carries out his professional work mainly in neuropsychiatry, neuromodulation, psychopharmacology, geriatric psychiatry and dynamic psychotherapies based on analytical psychology.

 As of November 2024, he creates treatment plans tailored to the individual's needs in line with current scientific data at the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER) of Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital.
