Spec. Dr. (Specialist Dr.) DİLVİN ÇELİK ATEŞ

Dilvin Çelik Ateş, MD, was born in Manisa in 1975. She completed her medical education at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in 1999, and her specialization in pediatrics at Turgut Özal Training and Research Hospital, İnönü University Faculty of Medicine in 2007, when she received the title of Pediatrician. Prior to her specialist training, she completed her compulsory service at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital between 1999 and 2001; after which she focused on the field of Pediatric Diseases. She prepared her specialization thesis entitled "The Relationship Between Autoimmunity and Hb A1c in Patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus" under the supervision of Prof. Ayşehan Akıncı, MD.

Following her specialization, she completed her mandatory service as a Pediatric Specialist at Malatya Training and Research Hospital between 2007 and 2014. In 2015, after passing the Medical Subspecialty Training Entrance Examination, she began her subspecialty training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Department of Pediatric Diseases, Turgut Özal Training and Research Hospital, İnönü University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her subspecialty rotation in the Pediatric Oncology department at Ankara University in 2017-2018. During this period, she participated in a Phase III study evaluating ibrutinib in pediatric and young adult patients with relapsed refractory mature B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. After successfully completing her specialization in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, she began her mandatory service at Malatya Training and Research Hospital in 2018. Between 2019 and 2020, she completed her rotation at the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit of Turgut Özal Training and Research Hospital, İnönü University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2019 and 2021, she worked as a doctor and lecturer in the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology department at Turgut Özal Training and Research Hospital, İnönü University Faculty of Medicine. During this period, she established the Pediatric Oncology service and planned and implemented the treatment of many patients. She also participated in the "Study on the Use of Sodium Thiosulfate to Prevent Cisplatin-Induced Ototoxicity in Children with Localized Non-Metastatic Solid Tumors" with a nasopharyngeal cancer patient.

During her post-specialization period, she worked as the assistant clinical chief at the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Center, involved in autologous, allogeneic, and haploidentical bone marrow transplantation processes. She actively participated in the bone marrow collection and application process. Between 2021 and 2023, she worked at Bezmialem University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in "Supportive Treatment and Care of Cancer Patients" at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Oncology Institute, since 2021. Between 2023 and 2024, she worked as a doctor and lecturer at Demiroğlu Science University and at Florence Nightingale Hospital.

Dilvin Çelik Ateş, MD, is a member of the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Association, the Turkish Pediatric Hematology Association, the Turkish Hematology Association, and the Istanbul Chamber of Physicians. She aims to deliver high-quality healthcare services by utilizing cutting-edge, scientifically grounded treatment methods and drawing on her vast clinical experience in patient care.
