Spec. Dr. (Specialist Dr.) ELMİR KHANMAMMADOV

Specialist Elmir Khanmammadov, MD was born in Azerbaijan in 1984. He completed his medical education at Azerbaijan Medical University in 2008 and his neurology residency at Bakırköy Training and Research Hospital for Psychiatry and Neurological Diseases in 2015, qualifying as a Neurology Specialist. His specialization thesis focused on “The Relationship Between Clopidogrel Resistance and Platelet Count and Mean Platelet Volume in Patients with Ischemic Stroke.”

Following his specialization, he joined the Department of Neurology at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in 2015.

His clinical practice has primarily focused on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cerebrovascular diseases, epilepsy, and headache disorders.

He has authored scientific papers and presented his research findings at various national and international scientific journals and conferences.

He currently continues his clinical practice in the field of neurology at Medipol Mega Hospital.

Combining his academic knowledge and extensive clinical experience in neurology with up-to-date, evidence-based treatment approaches, Specialist Elmir Khanmammadov, MD aims to provide high-quality healthcare services to his patients.
