Highlights
Spec. İSMET ÜSTÜN, MD was born in Tekirdağ in 1984. He completed his medical education at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 and his Neurology residency at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2015, receiving the title of Neurology Specialist. His specialty thesis was on 'Bilirubin Levels in Ischemic Stroke Patients'.
After his specialty training, he completed his compulsory service at Tatvan State Hospital and then worked at Bezmialem Foundation University Hospital and Private Medipol Nisa Hospital. Subsequently, he has been working at Istanbul Medipol Bahçelievler Hospital since its establishment in 2022.
He holds Ministry of Health-approved certificates in Prolotherapy, Acupuncture and Neural Therapy. His areas of interest include chronic pain, headaches, neck and low back pain, stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, and vertigo. He performs Botox applications, dry needling and pain injections.
