Specialist Dr. Özgün Köksal graduated as a Medical Doctor from Mersin University Faculty of Medicine in 2015. In 2019, she completed her Neurology residency training at Ege University. In the same year, she began her compulsory service at Sivas State Hospital, which she completed in 2022.
Dr. Köksal specializes in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. She has received training in EEG and EMG, botulinum toxin applications, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), neuro-otology, and neuro-ophthalmology.
Since November 2022, she has been working at the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PARMER) at Istanbul Medipol University, where she develops treatment plans and provides personalized medical follow-up and care tailored to each patient.
