"Dr. Salicha Gkiouler is a psychiatrist specializing in mental health and disorders, with experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of various psychiatric disorders, particularly adult psychiatry. Dr. Salicha Gkiouler embraces evidence-based medical principles in her clinical practice, applies current treatment approaches, and creates individualized treatment plans for each patient. 

 She has experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental illnesses, including depression, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, illness anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, gender dysphoria, psychotic disorders, and addiction psychiatry. She adopts a holistic approach, considering her patients' biological, psychological, and social characteristics together. 

 Salicha Gkiouler began her medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2008 and graduated in 2014. In 2015, she started her specialization training in the Department of Mental Health and Diseases at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine, and received the title of psychiatry specialist in 2019. During her specialist training, Salicha Gkiouler gained experience in the field of addiction psychiatry by working in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up processes of patients with alcohol and substance use disorders at the AMATEM Clinic of Erenköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital. During her specialist training, she conducted individual and group therapy sessions with individuals and families experiencing gender dysphoria, and delivered training and scientific presentations on the subject. She also participated in academic studies in the field of gender dysphoria, and authored scientific articles and book chapters published on the subject.

She served as vice president and secretary of the Kocaeli Branch of the Turkish Psychiatric Association. 

She has received training in Evidence-Based Medicine, Good Clinical Practice, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dynamic Psychotherapy, Brief Emergency Psychotherapy, and Sexual Dysfunction. Following her specialization training, she began working at Medipol University Pendik Hospital and continues her professional work as a psychiatrist. She closely follows current scientific developments and integrates them into her clinical practice."
