Highlights
Spec. Umut Mert Yıldırım MD received his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine between 2013 and 2019. Between 2020 and 2024, he completed his specialty training at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology of Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital.
After receiving his specialty, he completed his compulsory state service at Şırnak State Hospital and began seeing patients at Istanbul Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital in 2025.
During and after his specialty training, he has attended numerous national and international scientific meetings as a participant and speaker. He has also attended many training programs offered by the Turkish Society of Dermatology. By taking the post-specialty board examinations, he earned the Turkish Society of Dermatology Board Certificate in Dermatology and Venereology.
He has knowledge and skills in all skin and venereal diseases, particularly skin tumors, dermoscopy and mole monitoring, as well as dermocosmetic procedures (fillers, botox, mesotherapy and laser treatments) and basic skin surgery.
He follows current training and scientific innovations and places importance on continuity in order to keep pace with the rapidly developing world of medicine and dermatology.
