Asst. Prof. Zeynep Eğri Kansu MD, graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2007. The doctor completed the specialization training in Pulmonology at Istanbul Medipol University in 2019. Following the specialization, the doctor worked as a Pulmonologist at Arnavutköy State Hospital.
Since 2024, the doctor has been continuing the academic and clinical work as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Medipol University.
Throughout the career, the doctor has contributed to numerous national and international scientific publications in the field of Pulmonology. The doctor's research, particularly focusing on sleep disorders, lung cancer biomarkers, allergic asthma, and invasive chest diseases, has been contributed to the literature in highly prestigious peer-reviewed journals and scientific meetings. The doctor's dissertation, titled "The relationship between zonulin protein levels and metabolic syndrome and disease severity in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome," has provided important data for current approaches in this field. The doctor's success in scientific studies was recognized with the “Verbal Presentation Award" the doctor received at the 9th Sleep Disorders Congress of Uykuder in 2022.

Asst. Prof. Zeynep Eğri Kansu MD, at the university, . conducts educational activities at both undergraduate and graduate levels, providing training to students on "Pleural Effusion," "Symptoms in Chest Diseases," and "Physical Examination in Chest Diseases."
