Check-Up Preparation Information

To ensure you get the most accurate results from your check-up, we recommend reading the pre-check-up preparation information before scheduling your appointment.

  • Make sure you don't eat anything after midnight the night before your check-up appointment.
  • Try to avoid consuming excessive amounts of tea, coffee, soft drinks, and water. (In unavoidable situations, water consumption is permissible, but no more than one glass.)
  • Stop smoking and consuming all types of tobacco products.
  • Stop drinking alcohol 3 days before your check-up appointment.
  • Bring your medication with you, which you need to take on an empty stomach in the morning..
  • Absolutely do not eat breakfast on the morning of your check-up appointment.
  • Do not apply any creams or lotions to your body before your echocardiogram.
  • If your check-up program includes an exercise stress test, please come dressed appropriately (sportswear, athletic shoes).
  • Please do not wear jewelry or accessories during your check-up appointment.
  • Avoid physical exercise and all strenuous activities before your check-up appointment.
  • Patients whose check-up package includes a mammogram should shower before their appointment and avoid applying creams, perfumes, etc. to their bodies. (The mammogram is performed between the 7th and 10th days of the menstrual cycle). Appointments should be scheduled accordingly.
  • Please bring with you the results of any tests and examinations conducted within the last 6 months.
  • Patients who are pregnant or suspect they may be pregnant must inform their doctor before their check-up.

Medication Use and Pre-Check-Up Procedures

To ensure you get the most accurate results from your check-up, please stop taking the following medications at least 3 days before your appointment.

  • Do not take vitamin supplements starting 5 days before your check-up appointment.
  • Do not use herbal remedies without a prescription.
  • Do not take iron supplements of any kind before your check-up appointment.
  • If your check-up package includes a "Fecal Occult Blood Test," stop taking aspirin 5 days before your appointment. If you have a condition that requires regular aspirin use (such as coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, etc.), be sure to note this on the information form provided.
