SOMATOM Force
SOMATOM Force is an advanced technology that enables clear and comprehensive whole-body scanning while exposing the body to a lower radiation dose than a standard X-ray.
Thanks to its dual-tube, dual-detector technology, SOMATOM Force completes a full rotation in as short as 0.25 seconds, enabling coronary CT angiography to be performed independently of heart rate and without the need for beta blockers (medications that reduce cardiac workload). The system features automatic patient positioning to prevent issues that may occur due to incorrect positioning. The device specifications include 384 detectors and 1152 slices.
